What a day! We’ve moved into a new space just a few doors from our old tiny shop. We’ve refreshed our look a bit and now have some space for larger items like the Mustard Made lockers I’m so proud to stock. It’s still only a small shop but big enough for us.
Best of all, for me anyway, there’s a loo inside. After 7 years of battling through three locked doors to an outdoor privy that is a true relief 😀
So this week, we emptied out the old shop and painted and prepped it for the new occupiers - welcome to the Cop Nicola and Mike with their fab business @drybychoice - cleaned, decorated and merchandised the new shop and dealt with all that dull stuff like getting the lights working, broadband and energy (OMG, the cost!). I’m not gonna lie, I’m exhausted.
Thank you so much to Mollie and Paul for all your hard work. Especially Mollie, her artists eye and artists brush have worked wonders. Even our new logo is her work, she even painted it on the shop front herself 🖌️🖌️🖌️
Re-opening day yesterday was a blast, so many customers, old and new, came through the door and they all seemed to love what we’ve done. Thank you so much for coming by.
By the way, so many of you asked about the shop colours… the frontage and most of the inside is Fog and the back wall is Kelp both from the amazing paint range by @abigailahern. (Thank you Imran for getting it to us so swiftly.)
Finally, I want to give a big shout out to Nick and Ali from @seletti who went way above and beyond for us. Thank you guys 🙏
If you get a chance to come to Shrewsbury and see us, please do. It’s a great town with a zillion fab shops, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
