Privileged to be stocking work by Louise Madzia

Welcome to your new obsession... I'm so made up and privileged to be stocking the amazing ceramics made by london-based artist and designer Louise Madzia.

Louise Madzia specialises in ceramics. Her main collection, selections from which I am stocking in the shop, is slip-cast by hand in the potteries of Stoke-on-Trent, just up the road from us. Her handmade pieces are crafted in her Camden studio using the slab-built method. She also works in print and illustration, previously working with Liberty London and Vöslauer Mineral Water.

Louise is dedicated to supporting UK craftsmanship and creating simple but playful pieces for the home. With a background in illustration, her work is rooted in drawing and she is always finding inspiration through galleries, paintings and films.

Her work has been stocked internationally at retailers such as Selfridges, Liberty London, Browns Fashion, The Hyundai Seoul and Le Bon Marché Paris. Omg, we are in such exalted company I'm blushing. And, her ceramics have been recognised in various publications including The Financial Times, Courier, Zeit Magazin, Elle and Time Out.
